Gary Gershoff/WireImageEveryone in Hollywood dreams of being dressed by Oscar de la Renta, perhaps becoming his muse and wearing one of his gowns on a red carpet in front of millions.
But Oscar himself dreams of one gal in particular, an actress he just "loves" who inspires him, he revealed to E! News.
So who is the lucky girl?
"I like to think all of them," he told E! News when we caught up with him at the Diane von Furstenberg show at Lincoln Center today.
The designer was just so sweet that we pressed him for a favorite, so he did smile and reveal one name very special to him when it comes to how she carries off his looks.
"Well I love Sarah Jessica [Parker], because she is a friend for a long time," he said. "Sarah Jessica is like Diane [Von Furstenberg]; she is very much the spirit of New York, she is the New York girl. I love her."
Well, we'd count SJP amongst the luckiest girls in the world.
As for why he was attending the von Furstenberg show, he told us he's a longtime friend and came out to show his support.
"I love Diane. We have been friends forever," he said. "I have a tremendous admiration for Diane. I came for her because she is the spirit of the 21st Century. Diane is all about beauty, all about creativity, femininity and the aura of femininity."
He certainly seemed to mean it, because he obviously enjoyed the clothes, smiling throughout and one of the most enthusiastic clappers in the crowd.
