Actress Amy Smart tied the knot today in Michigan with her HGTV Carter Can man Carter Oosterhouse.

The actress and host made it official in Traverse City, Michigan with more than 200 friends and family attending.
As for why the Midwest location? Amy told Us: "He's from there and my parents live there, so it's been my second home since I was very young."
As for the dress, Amy did bride-well-done and donned a Carolina Herrera gown, while her eight bridesmaids all wore navy Ann Taylor dresses. Accessorizing her Herrera gown, Amy stunned in Neil Lane, complete with 6 carat diamond and platinum chandelier earrings and a diamond and platinum bracelet by the famed jeweler.
The couple, who reportedly met while attending a green charity event last November, were together only a few months before the handy man popped the question. Obviously, time wasn't a factor in Smart's decision to live the rest of her life with this guy. But the fact that he's practically Prince Charming was.
"I think he's an incredible man on so many levels. He's so kind, so respectful, loving…he's got so many qualities that I can't wait to spend my life with."
...and he's handy!
