Watching Ryan Reynolds desperately trying to escape from a coffin in Buried was hard enough, but in this exclusive look at a special feature on the thriller's upcoming Blu-ray/DVD release (out next Tuesday), even the sight of him simply making the flick is almost as nerve-racking.
"It sounds like it would be, on paper, it sounds like it would be easy. You know, shoot a movie in a coffin. How hard is that?" says Reynolds. "But there's rarely a time in this film where we even repeat a shot. And when you think of 88 minutes or so in one location, with one person, that's a feat. That's a feat of engineering."
A heart-stopping, intense, claustrophobic feat of engineering, but yes, a feat of engineering nevertheless.
