The Queen of Soul is set to undergo a medical procedure sometime today, but her rep Tracey Jordan (no, not that one…if only) is keeping mum on what, exactly, the procedure will entail.
The lack of info didn't seem to bother her fans in Detroit, who last night gathered downtown to hold a community prayer vigil for the ailing 68-year-old singer.
"All prayers are good," Franklin said in response to news of the gathering.
The legendary singer first revealed her health problem last month, when she announced that doctors ordered her to cancel all planned concerts and appearances through May in order to deal with her mystery ailment. Get well soon!
