Tony Parker has always been quick with the rebound.
The NBA star counterfiled for divorce from Eva Longoria on Friday, two days after the Desperate Housewives star moved to make their separation permanent, E! News confirms.
While Longoria cited the California special, "irreconcilable differences," as the reason for their split, Parker's filing goes with this lengthier rationale, according to the petition obtained by E! News.
"The marriage insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationships and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation."
And, while it takes six months to make a California divorce official, no matter how amicable the opposing parties, Texas can make Parker and Longoria single entities in a matter of 60 days.
But while Longoria's filing mentioned a prenuptial agreement, Parker's petition states, "Petitioner believes Petitioner and Respondent will enter into an agreement for the division of their estate."
As in, they haven't entered into an agreement yet?
For the financial record, Parker signed a new four-year, $50 million contract with the Spurs last month.
His rep had no comment on the second leg of these divorce proceedings.
