More than a few Dancing With the Stars fans probably felt like blowing up their TVs after Tuesday night's shocking results, which saw Brandy getting the boot over Bristol the Pistol.

But one guy actually did it!

A Wisconsin man was arrested for allegedly going on a rampage and shooting his TV after the younger Palin hoofed it up on the dancing competition.

The gun-happy DWTS fan, ID'd as 67-year-old Wisconsinite Steven Cowan, went on his TV annihilating spree on Monday.

Spokeswoman Elise Schaffer of the Dane County Sheriff's Department tells E! News that  Cown was taken into custody after forcing a standoff with police following Palin's performance.

His wife, Janice, filed a criminal complaint and outlined the evening's events for officers. "She was on the couch in the living room, watching television," the police report reads. "The Dancing With the Stars show came on...Sarah Palin's daughter was dancing. Steven jumped up and swore, saying something to the effect of, 'The f--king politics.' Steven was upset that a political figure's daughter was dancing on this particular show when Steven did not think that she was a good dancer."

But instead of simply channeling his inner Bruno Tonioli, Cowan brought in the weaponry.

He went upstairs and retrieved a handgun, per the report and allegedly threatened to shoot his wife and then commit suicide. Instead, he fired a round into the television.

He was charged with domestic disorderly conduct and second-degree reckless endangerment of safety.

According to his missus, Cowan is currently on medication for bipolar disorder and once threatened her 15 years ago with a machete. He remains locked up in the Dane County Jail. No word yet on a date for his arraignment.

He wasn't the only one upset with the results judging by the online outcry following the show (just see our comments section).

Maybe he bought into the Tea Party conspiracy theory?

Considering Brandy and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy earned a perfect score for their tango on Monday—and that Palin has consistently ranked at the bottom of the judges' voting—there is even more fuel for those who think the GOP is unfairly stuffing the ballot box.

There have even been threats of violence against Dancing's expert panel. At an event Tuesday night in Los Angeles, former contestant Gilles Marini told E! News he received death threats after giving Brandy a 9 when guest judging the competition.

If there's a lesson to be learned here, it's that it's just a TV show. So chill, people, chill!
