Jane Fonda can thank her lucky stars this was caught early.

The two-time Oscar winner revealed that a routine check-up a few weeks ago found that she had breast cancer, but fortunately doctors were able to remove the tumor before it could spread.

A rep for the 72-year-old Fonda told People the disease was diagnosed as non-invasive—i.e. the tumor was at an early stage and had not mestastasized to surrounding tissue or other parts of the body—and after undergoing a procedure, she's now "completely fine" and "100 percent cancer-free."

Maybe all those work outs over the years probably helped.

Speaking of maintaining good health, the actress and fitness wonder is bringing the '80s craze she started back in style as she's about to launch a new line of Primetime Fitness DVDs on Nov. 30 and re-issuing her Fonda Workout brand with a series of DVDs and workout equipment on Dec. 26.

It's everything you need to stay in shape after the gluttony of the holidays.

Fonda next hits the big screen opposite Catherine Keener, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford in the comedy-drama Peace, Love & Misunderstanding.
