That's some vote of confidence.
They haven't even wrapped up the first full season, and already Fox has greenlighted a third for the crowd-pleasing, critic-appeasing, stunt-cast-friendly Glee.
"In just one year, Glee has transcended the television landscape and emerged as a global pop culture phenomenon," said Fox Entertainment boss Peter Rice.
"We are incredibly proud to have talent like Ryan Murphy and the Glee cast in our Fox family, and we can't wait to see where Ryan takes the show in seasons two and three."
We can only assume that some of the show's musicality has rubbed off on the network bigwigs—after all, it's not every day fans and TV execs think alike. Now that's what we call perfect harmony.
The first season finale airs June 8.
