Like wife, like husband.

Just two weeks after wife Brooke Mueller began in-patient treatment—and two days after child services paid what was described as a "routine" visit to their residence—Charlie Sheen's rep confirms to E! News that the actor has also entered rehab. Again.

This time around, however, the sitcom star's decision to seek help (for an undisclosed cause) is being described as "a preventative measure."

"As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility. He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men. He has asked that his privacy be honored."

It's unclear where or for how long Sheen will be undergoing treatment, and answers are unlikely to come anytime soon. Earlier today, an attorney for Mueller lashed out at both the media and her previous rehab center after revealing the location of her treatment.

There's no word on who is caring for the couple's 11-month-old twins while their parents are away.

Just last week, Sheen's TV costar Jennifer Taylor told E! News the actor was "in good spirits" and "holding up really well." For his kids' sake, here's hoping she's right.
