Wanna get away Bruce Springsteen

"The Boss" might have felt like hopping on a Southwest flight or his tour bus after he shouted "Hello Ohio!"…to a crowd in Michigan.

The 60–year-old "Wrecking Ball" crooner wrecked his chances of playing off the blunder after he referenced Ohio three separate times at the Palace of Auburn Hills Friday night during his "Working on a Dream" tour.

That was until E Street Band guitarist Steve Van Zandt stepped in and saved him.

"I just grabbed him and said, 'you don't realize it, but you're saying Ohio and we're in Michigan.' He said 'What?!?," Zandt told Rolling Stone. "In his mind he knew he was in Detroit, but somehow Detroit wound up in Ohio for a minute."

The Boss probably felt like he was "Born to Run" at that point, but the city-swapping star stayed put and treated the forgiving fans to an energetic three-hour concert.
