It's going to take more than a bad stomach bug to keep Dennis Hopper down.

The Easy Rider star was dicharged from a Manhattan hospital, a day after he was rushed by ambulance to the emergency room wearing an oxygen mask. (No Blue Velvet fans, it wasn't nitrous.)

His manager, Sam Maydew, says in a statement that 73-year-old two-time Academy Award nominee suffered from a stomach ailment coupled with those dreaded "flulike symptoms" but is "feeling much better."

Hopper will take a few more days to recoup and has canceled a bunch of promotional appearances on behalf of  his Starz TV series Crash, loosely based on 2004 Oscar winner.

Once he's back in the pink, the veteran actor is also set to costar with J.K. Simmons, Tricia Helfer and Scott Caan in the dark comedy A Beginner's Guide to Endings.
