Chris Brown is about to face the music.

In just minutes, the disgraced singer will learn his fate for assaulting fellow R&B star Rihanna, after his sentencing date was moved up from this Thursday at the request of his attorney.

Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault on June 22. As part of his deal with prosecutors, the "Kiss Kiss" crooner is expected to receive five years' probation, and ordered to perform 180 days of community service as well as complete an antidomestic violence program in Los Angeles.

The hearing was supposed to take place two weeks ago, but L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg postponed sentencing after Brown's lawyers filed a petition asking that the 20-year-old performer be allowed to serve his community service in his home state of Virginia.

Our live feed of Brown's sentencing starts at 2 p.m. PT.
