Michael Jackson's mom wants to rock with you.

A proud Katherine Jackson has nothing but high praise for a September 26 tribute concert to the late popster taking place in Vienna that's expected to draw thousands of the singer's devotees.

"I immediately found this is a wonderful idea because of Michael's impact and influence around the world," the Jackson matriarch said in a letter released by World Awards Media, the company organizing the event with Jackson's brother, Jermaine.

Jackson fans, you are not alone.

"An event of this dimension not only keeps Michael's spirit alive. More than that, it gives millions of fans the opportunity to experience his music and celebrate the life of my son. I am sure Michael would love it," she added.

Promoters have yet to unveil the slate of legendary artists supposedly invited to perform, but various news reports have mentioned Madonna, U2, Whitney Houston and Lionel Ritchie among those on the bill.

So far, 10,000 tickets have been sold for the show, which is being held at the city's Shoenbrunn Palace.
