Brad Does Not, Repeat, Does Not Want to Be Mayor

Mr. Pitt finds himself facing the same question over and over and over again while talking to Ann Curry about possible political aspirations

If Brad Pitt came across sounding like a broken record this morning on the Today show, it certainly wasn't his fault.

During an interview with Ann Curry down in New Orleans, where the actor has spent much of his time assisting those displaced by Hurricane Katrina, the question was posed if he would ever consider a run for mayor. After all, T-shirts have already been made...

"Yeah, yeah, I'm running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform," teased Brad. "I don't have a chance."

Apparently not getting the answer she was looking for, Ann asked yet again. And then again.

"I don't have a chance," he repeated. Yet again. And then again.

And Brad thought rebuilding the Big Easy's Lower Ninth Ward was tough.

________

Politics may not be Brad's thing. Partying, on the other hand, is a different story.
