What's the matter with Mischa Barton?
The former O.C. starlet placed a non-emergency phone call Wednesday to L.A.'s Finest, who ended up assisting her with some "medical issues," a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department tells E! News.
"Shortly after 3 p.m., a patrol car did respond to her home to assist her with medical issues," officer Karen Rayner said. "No one was arrested and no one else was involved."
Talk about sketchy.
The spokeswoman could not say whether deputies were still helping her on the scene or if the problem was serious enough to warrant Barton seeking medical attention at a nearby hospital. No word what exactly ailed her.
According to Access Hollywood, the 23-year-old actress was escorted to an undisclosed location.
A publicist for Barton could not be reached for comment.
In Dec. 2007, the thespian was dinged in West Hollywood for driving under the influence and marijuana possession following a traffic stop. She was subsequently rung up on misdemeanor charges of DUI and driving without a valid license, for which she received probation after cutting a deal with prosecutors and pleading no contest.
After taking full responsibility for her actions and telling E! News anchor Ryan Seacrest on his radio show that she doesn't "ever intend to do something this stupid again," Barton checked into rehab.
