Guess this means dude got an A in Herbology.

Jamie Waylett, the 19-year-old actor who plays Slytherin bully Vincent Crabbe in the blockbuster Harry Potter movies, has been charged with growing 10 marijuana plants in connection with his arrest earlier this year.

"Jamie Waylett is due to appear at City of Westminster magistrates court later this month," a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman told Britain's Telegraph. "He is charged with producing a Class B drug, namely 10 plants of cannabis."

Waylett was busted April 2 after police pulled over his Audi. A search turned up approximately $2,900 worth of weed in eight bags and Waylett and his passenger were taken into custody. Cops later raided the home Waylett shares with his mum, brothers and sister and discovered a hypdroponic pot garden next to his DJ turntable and PlayStation, prompting the additional charges.

If convicted of cannabis production, Waylett could face a maximum of five years in a real-life Azkhaban.

Waylett has played Crabbe, Draco Malfoy's tubby henchman in all six Harry Potter adventures, including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which had its world premiere in London on Tuesday and arrives in theaters July 15.
