UPDATE: Fetty Wap has been released from prison on $500,000 bond.
On Friday, Nov. 5, the rapper was granted bond on the condition that he wear a GPS monitor, undergo random drug testing and surrender his passport, according to court documents obtained by E! News. Additionally, the documents state that the federal judge gave the artist permission to travel so long as he obtains prior approval of pre-trial services and the U.S. Attorney's Office.

UPDATE: During his virtual arraignment on Oct. 29, Fetty Wap entered a plea of not guilty. Federal prosecutors asked that he be detained pretrial, which the defense did not contest.
His next court date is scheduled for Nov. 24.

Fetty Wap has found himself in a legal situation.
According to a law enforcement source, FBI agents arrested the rapper, born William Junior Maxwell II, on Thursday Oct. 28 at CitiField in connection with federal drug charges.
The arrest happened hours before Fetty was expected to perform at the Rolling Loud music festival in New York. A rep for the festival told TMZ they had no prior knowledge of the artist's legal issues.
According to a press release from the Department of Justice, Fetty along with other defendants are accused of conspiring to distribute and possess controlled substances.
"As alleged, the defendants transported, distributed and sold more than 100 kilograms of deadly and addictive drugs, including heroin and fentanyl, on Long Island, deliberately contributing to the opioid epidemic that has devastated our communities and taken too many lives," United States attorney Breon Peace said in a press release. "We will continue to work nonstop with our law enforcement partners to keep our neighborhoods safe."
Before Fetty was scheduled to be arraigned, a spokesperson for his attorney Navarro Gray released a statement to E! News.
"We believe this is a big misunderstanding," the spokesperson stated on Oct. 29. "He sees the judge today and we're hoping he gets things cleared up expeditiously." If convicted, the defendants face a maximum of life imprisonment.
Fetty has not publicly commented on his arrest.
Earlier in the week, the "Trap Queen" rapper took to Instagram with a photo that read, "Grief is just love with no place to go."
"Find your outlet…mine is music and Mary Jane," he captioned the post. "What's yours?"
Back in August, the rapper mourned the loss of his 4-year-old daughter Lauren Maxwell, who he shared with Turquoise Miami.
"Hey mini me (My Twin)," he wrote on social media. I love you too the moon and back forever and ever bestfriend."
