Well, that was fast.
On night seven of Conan O'Brien's Tonight Show run, David Letterman's Late Show finished on top, overnight ratings showed.
Tuesday's Late Show featured Julia Roberts, who worked over the host for details on his recent wedding. The Tonight Show countered with Eddie Murphy.
It's hard to tell who should be more nervous about the Nielsen results: the studio execs behind the film Murphy was promoting; O'Brien, who only a week ago was beating Letterman by double digits; or Letterman, who beat the pants off early Leno, too, before running second to the comic for most of Leno's 17-year Tonight Show run.
