For those about to rock, we salute you recommend investing in a solid health insurance plan.

The damage report is in on Bret Michaels following his literally headbanging performance at last night's Tony Awards, and it looks like the the Poison singer escaped relatively unscathed. His publicist says X-rays taken after the noggin-knocking incident revealed Michaels suffered a fractured nose to go along with a busted lip that required three stitches. Due to a prior back injury, he will also be receiving a precautionary CAT scan sometime today.

As evidenced in the already infamous YouTube clip, Michaels had just wrapped up his portion of the "Nothin' But a Good Time" with the cast of Rock of Ages when the Broadway gods struck. Michaels failed to hit his mark in time and was coldcocked by the scenery.

On the bright side, at least now when critics say his performance fell flat, they have photographic evidence.

Meanwhile, a bad night for Michaels proved good for just about everyone else involved in the Tonys. This year's Neil Patrick Harris-hosted extravaganza averaged 7.45 million people, a 19 percent increase over last year and the best ratings for the ceremony since 2003.
