The disappointment lightning bolt is streaking its way through Hollywood today following the California Supreme Court's ruling to uphold Proposition 8. Gay marriage will remain outlawed, and the stars remain outraged. Let's go to the tweets.

Alyssa Milano calls this "a sad day for equality," while Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist starlet Kat Dennings says, "This is disgusting."

One Tree Hill's Bryan Greenberg shares his frustration and empathy: "Cali Supreme court are you kidding me?! If 2 people love each other and wanna get married it's fine by me."
