Looks like Enrique Iglesias can't "Bailamos" his way out of this one.
The international pop star and his manager are being sued for allegedly running over the foot of an 11-year old girl who approached Iglesias for an autograph while in his car as he was leaving an L.A.-area radio station in 2007. Iglesias was not operating the vehicle at the time.
Not only is Lizette Torres suing for the injuries incurred by daughter Susan Bonilla, she is claiming to have suffered her own distress—or, as she puts it, "emotional shock to her nervous system"—as a result of witnessing the accident.
Up for grabs? Both mother and daughter are seeking an upwards of $25,000 in damages as well as future medical expenses.
"The collision was caused by [Iglesias' manager] Giaccardi who was backing up his vehicle in an unsafe manner while on private property," the suit reads.
"Giaccardi negligently runned over...Bonilla's foot when she was standing near [Iglesias'] vehicle. Defendents left the scene and came back later."
