UPDATE: Ashley Darby has another little Joey in her pouch, and it's a boy!
On Tuesday, Sept. 8, The Real Housewives of Potomac star confirmed on Instagram she and Australian husband Michael Darby are expecting their second child together. On Thursday, Nov. 19, Ashley posted a video of her adorable sex reveal announcement to the world...and her hubby!
In the clip, Michael is seen biking through Washington, D.C. and his destination in a forest clearing, where Ashley and their 16-month-old son Dean wait for him under a huge banner bearing the words "IT'S A BOY!!!" in blue letters. She wrote in her post, "Michael has lived in Washington DC for almost 30 years, but this is a bike ride different than any one he's taken before."
Ashley announced her pregnancy with an Instagram video showing the whole family, with a close-up of the couple's toddler. The clip stated, "Dean has an announcement to make, Baby D2 arriving February 2021."
Ashley previously teased her second baby plans to E! News this past August. Ahead of the RHOP season five premiere, the former Oz owner shared, "Oh my gosh, I'm yearning to have more children. I would say that if I could I would have a Darby dozen and have a whole football team of kids, just a slew of them running around."
Per Ashley, Michael "made it clear that he would be willing to have one more child."
Co-star Monique Samuels expressed well wishes for the Darbys after their pregnancy announcement, writing in the comments sections, "Congratulations!!!!!"
According to Ashley, she turns to Monique the most for motherhood advice.
"She and I have children similar ages. She's also into holistic, homeopathic remedies and I am as well so she gave me a lot of really good advice about how to navigate motherhood," Ashley said to E! about Monique, who welcomed her third child Chase in November 2018. "She gave me a great little recipe for helping with his teething. So she's been real influential."
