Rihanna may be avoiding Chris Brown these days but, according to her attorney, she's still in step with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.

Attorney Donald Etra tells E! News that a report that Rihanna is no longer cooperating with prosecutors in their case against her longtime beau—whom she's currently taking a break from—is "totally incorrect."

A rep for the D.A.'s Office concurred: "We have been in contact with her attorney and he has always said she is a cooperating victim," said spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.

Etra has not yet said whether Rihanna, who lately has been doing enough partying to make up for a month spent out of the limelight, would be in court on April 6 for Brown's rescheduled arraignment on felony assault and threat charges. He appeared on her behalf March 5, telling the court that his client was not requesting an order of protection against her alleged attacker.

"There is no need for her to [to appear next Monday]," Gibbons told E! "She is not the defendant, Chris Brown is."
