Janet Jackson has postponed three additional shows due to an undisclosed illness.

In an e-mail sent late Saturday, her publicist said that a doctor in Greensboro, N.C., advised the 42-year-old singer not to perform that night since it was "evident" she wasn't fully recovered from an illness that left her briefly hospitalized on Monday.

Tonight's show in Atlanta and Tuesday's show in Fort Lauderdale have also been postponed so that Janet can recuperate at home.

Earlier in the week, the R&B diva was rushed to a hospital in Montreal, forcing that night's show and two others in Boston and Philadelphia to be canceled.

She has asked fans to keep their tickets for the postponed shows, which will be rescheduled.
