E!Aren't vacations supposed to be relaxing?
Well, that certainly wasn't the case during the WAGS Miami ladies' trip to the Bahamas in this Sunday's episode because Ashley Nicole Roberts and Claudia Sampedro found themselves in another ugly confrontation.
It all started when Ashley took major issue with Claudia's "perfect persona" and her views on motherhood. And since Ashley has no problem speaking her mind, she didn't hesitate to call her out on it!
But first, let's take it all the way back to beginning…
Claudia was ready to jump back into modeling after giving birth to her baby boy, Amare. And even though she eagerly stripped down for a wet and wild photo shoot on the beach, she was worried about what boyfriend Julius Peppers would think of the suggestive photos.
"In the past, I have done a little bit more revealing things, and I'm hoping and praying that Julius will approve," she explained. "He just wants me to be a little bit more conservative because we have this family now, but I feel like he has to give me a little bit more credit."
Despite those concerns, Claudia didn't hesitate to flaunt all her assets in barely-there swimwear, which confused Darnell Nicole when she stopped by the shoot for a visit.
"Girl, um, I mean, it's nothing left to see but nipples and tutu!" Darnell said. "I need a magnifying class to see the bikini that you're wearing right now!"
After Darnell's engagement disappointment, the women decided it was the perfect time to take a mini girls' trip to Bimini to celebrate the occasion and unwind. But before jet-setting off on their island adventure, Ashley dropped a bombshell on Darnell about Claudia's past after hearing about her photo shoot.
"You won't believe what Vanessa [Cole] showed me," Ashley said. She then whipped out her phone to reveal a bunch of Claudia's nude photos splashed across the internet.
Darnell was shocked. "Now, she told me she did some sexy modeling before, but, honey, I ain't know she was gymnast!" she said. The best friends thought it was even more surprising because of Claudia's superior attitude. "She has this whole air about herself like she would never, like clutching my pearls," Ashley noted.
The Bimini vacation started off on a sour note when Claudia showed up late because she wanted to bring her son and his nanny. And after much delay, she couldn't even travel with him because the nanny forgot her passport.
Ashley was especially annoyed with Claudia's extra fussing over her child. "I'm on vacation from kids!" she said. "I don't want to see nobody's baby! This wasn't for babies anyway!"
Claudia eventually arrived, but she wouldn't stop stressing about leaving her son behind. "He's a baby," she explained. "If anything happens, I would just hate myself." But her attitude began to piss off the other mothers in the room, especially Ashley and Darnell.
"Let's be clear, just because we take one or two day vacations away from our kids, doesn't mean we're bad moms," Ashley said.
Astrid Bavaresco tried to come to Claudia's defense as the energy in the room took a negative shift. But her suggestion that it was probably a "Hispanic thing" because they're "just so involved in each other's lives" only made the situation worse.
Despite the tension, the ladies continued their day with snorkeling followed by cocktails on a secluded beach. But Ashley's leisure was interrupted by Claudia's haughty views about being a mother as she reiterated Julius' desire for her to remain "conservative."
"I keep hearing y'all say mom this and mom that," Ashley said. "Like, you've got to hold yourself to a new mom standard."
"But I really do think that when you have kids, you kind of do," Claudia replied. Ashley then brought up how Claudia's comments about leaving her baby were disrespectful to the other moms on the trip. "It almost insinuated that we don't feel the same way about our kids," she said.
Ashley continued, "In general, you always try to portray this perfect persona. It's irritating when you're like, 'I'm a mom so I do this, I do that.' Like, you were a mom when you were taking pictures butt naked and stuff, so that's what I'm just trying to say." Oops…
Claudia immediately went into defensive mode, dismissing the accusations and claiming the images were doctored. Ashley insisted she wasn't trying to judge her—she only wanted to prove a point. "There are a billion pictures of you on the internet naked," Ashley said. "You try to act like you're so perfect. Just be real."
"I've made my mistakes in the past, and it is what it is," Claudia replied. But Ashley eventually got fed up with "perfect Patty" and walked away.
Later that night, Claudia was still extremely upset with how everything went down. "There are just places you don't go," she told Astrid and Vanessa in tears. "You don't do that. Like, you're a f--king mom. You know how sensitive that is."
She decided stay in her hotel room and skip dinner. "I'm with a bunch of bitches that clearly don't like me," she said.
But while everyone was downstairs, Claudia swiftly packed up and headed back home.
"At the end of the day, it's all about how you approach things," she said. "There's a time and a place for everything, but obviously these girls haven't figured that out yet."
