Is it too early to join Dancing With the Stars' Team Brenda Shannen Doherty?

Considering ABC's megahit doesn't start until Monday, this Beverly Hills, 90210 fan will go ahead and say yes, but know this, America: The girl can dance!

We just infiltrated (shhh!) the rehearsal sessions of four of this season's new contestants—Doherty, Olympian Evan Lysacek, NFL stud Chad Ochocinco and funnygal Niecy Nash—and here's the scoop you need to know:

First off, check out the video clip above to see how the four couplings are looking. And to hear what sounds like a love confession if you listen real close!

"There are aches and pains, but I'm holding up pretty well," Shannen tells us of her DWTS experience thus far. And she's learning fast. "I was a sports girl, I wasn't a dance girl" she says of her life before the show.

Of course, Shannen has some serious competition, what with a world-class figure skater (second coming of Kristi Yamaguchi?) on board. But that doesn't mean things are easy for Lysacek. Au contraire: "It's definitely been a lot harder than I anticipated!" he admits.

Ditto NFL stud Ochocinco. "I'm not physically tired," he explains, "I'm mentally drained trying to consume so much in such a short period of time."

Niecy, on the other hand, is just happy her partner, Louis Van Amstel, isn't trying to curb her curvaceous curves. "He works me out really hard, he forces my body to do things I didn't think it could, and he even lets me have a cheeseburger," she says. That's our kinda guy!

And it certainly looks like Niecy and Louis are having the most fun in the video above, right?

Now it's your turn to tell us: Which of these dancin' newbies looks the best so far?

Which of these dancing stars should boogie away with the disco ball trophy?

Check back later this week for behind-the-scenes peeks at the other DWTS hopefuls, including  The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka, Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and more. And oh yeah, you hear the "I love you" in the clip above, right? Hit the comments.
