Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will become parents in 2019!

It was announced on Monday morning that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first child together. "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019," the palace said in a statement on social media. "Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."

While the exciting baby news was just confirmed, pregnancy speculation began to surface last month.

Back in September, Meghan decided to change up her hairstyle, opting to wear her hair straight and down, versus her signature bun. This is actually a tactic Kate Middleton has used before announcing her pregnancies too. The change of style offers a distraction, getting people to focus on the hair and not a possible pregnancy.

As London reporter Kate Proctor tweeted in early September, "Pattern is Duchess of Cambridge changes her hairstyle, people concentrate on her head, then announces pregnancy. My gfs called this wks ago!"

In late September, Meghan and Harry visited Loughborough University for the Coach Core Awards, where they met with this year's 60 graduating apprentices. For the appearance, Meghan wore her long locks down and straight, paired with a royal blue Oscar de la Renta top which had a handkerchief-style bottom, covering any possible sign of a baby bump.

Back in July 2017, the Duchess of Cambridge debuted a new shorter hairstyle while attending Wimbledon. Then, exactly two months later, E! News confirmed that William and Kate were expecting their third child.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child," the palace announced in a statement in Sept. 2017. "The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."

Kate also made similar hair changes before her previous pregnancy reveals.
