Little Mix singer Leigh-Ann Pinnock had a frightening experience while dining in London recently.

Met Police confirm to E! News that the pop star as well as another woman were physically assaulted by a man while they were eating at the VQ restaurant in Bloomsbury last month.

Officials were called to the scene, but the Met Police tell us the man ran away before they arrived. Officials are still investigating the situation.

Though neither woman needed to go to the hospital, Pinnock took to Snapchat after the incident and posted photos of the bruise on her face, noting that it still "hurt."

Meanwhile, onlookers told The Sun (via DailyMail) more details about the incident.

"He walked around the table and lean into Leigh-Anne and gave her a clean slap on the face," one source said. "He was aggressive and seemed like he'd been drinking. She look shocked and while she laughed off the attack she then broke down a short while later."

Pinnock has received an outpouring of support from Little Mix fans since she shared the story on social media.

The hashtag #WeLoveYouLeigh began trending on Twitter, while several fans reached out to her with love.
