Marc Anthony hasn't said a single thing about his separation from his estranged wife Shannon de Lima, but his father didn't quite do the same during a recent interview.
Felipe Muñiz spoke to a reporter from Telemundo Puerto Rico's Dando Candela at his son's concert. The former musician talked about how his son was doing with all that was happening in his personal life.
"He's going through tough times right now, but he knows how to accept what comes out of this," Anthony's father said. "He has a lot of experience (in separations)."
The reporter asked him if the former couple had already taken the big step and signed the divorce papers.
"No, none of that. I know that they have their problems, but there's nothing concrete like that," he clarified.
When the famous kiss between Marc and J.Lo at The Latin Grammys 2017 was mentioned, the singer's father quickly explained that it wasn't what many believed it out to be.
"No, that was something...they're recording together. It was something friendly," he said before adding. "It isn't what people imagine that it was."
When asked if it was simply for publicity, and he said, "Hmmhmm, you already know."
J.Lo's former father in law says he sees his grandkids, Max and Emme, every three months. But said It'd been years since he's seen Marc's sons with former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres.
In November, E! News exclusively confirmed that Marc and Shannon were separated. Back in 2014, the 48-year-old Grammy winner married the 28-year-old Venezuelan model in a private ceremony in the Dominican Republic after secretly getting engaged months earlier.
