SUR's king of gossip isn't backing down.
Jax Taylor found himself in hot water with almost all of his cast members in tonight's episode of Vanderpump Rules, after he revealed that he walked in on his girlfriend Brittany Cartwright hooking up with Kristen Doute. The only problem? Brittany and Kristen are denying Jax's story, with Kristen accusing Jax of "pulling a Jax" and embellished their "drunk kiss."
But Jax insists he's telling the truth, saying it wasn't the actual hookup that bothered him, telling E! News, "I could care less. She could hook up with all the girls she wants. It doesn't bother me," but other circumstances that upset him enough to tell Tom Sandoval about Kristen "going down" on Brittany.
"It's not the fact that she did that...I told her I'm fine with it," Jax explains in the video above. "I think it was the fact that I came home at three in the morning and I was drunk and I was trying to call her and get a hold of her. That's why initially I was so mad...I was more mad over that I couldn't get a hold of her and I couldn't get into my apartment because I left my keys in the house. That's probably what I'm more mad about, and I just took it out on that."
So why are Brittany, Kristen and Carter, Kristen's boyfriend who Jax says was sleeping on the couch when he walked in, all saying Jax made up the story? He doesn't know, and while Jax has a reputation at SUR for gossiping and rumor-spreading, he tells us he had nothing to gain from lying about a Brittany-Kristen hookup.
"For me to lie about this, that would make me look bad," Jax insists. "Why would I make up such an absurd thing? How does this make me look good at all?"
He continues, "I walked in on something, whatever happened happened. I'm not going to dig into it. It is what it is. It's fine, I don't care."
Jax also doesn't care about watching the show, saying it's "awful" to watch himself on TV, but reveals there's one cast member who watches each episode several times. Press play on the video above to find out who.
