From Bachelorette to second baby, Ashley Hebert has come a long way.
The former reality star gave birth to her second child with husband and the show's Season 7 finalist J.P. Rosenbaum. The couple, who married in a televised wedding in December 2012, became parents again on Friday to their first daughter, Essex Reese Rosenbaum. They officially introduced their little girl to the world on Instagram, where proud dad poked fun at his first-time daughter fears.
"Introducing Essex Reese Rosenbaum," Ashley wrote of her little lady swaddled in a pink blanket with a big floral headband framing her dark hair.
"Day 2 nearly over and hopefully headed home soon where my perpetual fear of future boyfriends begins," J.P. added on his Instagram account with a photo of the trio in the hospital.
Little Essex joins 2-year-old big brother, Fordham Rhys, who was excited to finally meet his little sister.
"Fordy is going to make a great big brother and he can't wait to meet 'baby,'" J.P. told Us Weekly. "Both mommy and baby are doing great!"
It's been a long wait for the little one since his parents first announced in May that they were expecting another baby. "I can't hold it in any longer…My heart is bursting with love now that we're #ClearblueConfirmed! These booties are just the start, can't wait to stock up on cute tutus and sparkles for my #babygirl!" the excited mom wrote on Instagram at the time.
Of course, dad was a bit apprehensive even then. "Forgive me if my face says I'm 78% nervous because #ItsAGirl," he quipped on Instagram at the time.
