Well, it looks like that partnership between Ghost Rider and Phil Coulson is coming to an end.

In this sneak peek of this week's all-new episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., exclusive to E! News, we find Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) locked up in a S.H.I.E.L.D. containment pod alongside Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and his brother Gabe (Lorenzo James Henrie)—and it's safe to say the dude is not happy about it. As he punches and punches on the doors, Director Jeffrey Mace (Jason O'Mara) asks Coulson (Clark Gregg), "Will it hold?"

"No one's broken out yet, and it's held some pretty potent individuals," Coulson reassures. Of course, they've never tested the pods with any individuals currently sharing their bodies with vengeful fire spirits, so Fitz's (Iain De Caestecker) tech is in for one hell of a test.

"The module's polyadaptive material is the most sophisticated compound that S.H.I.E.L.D has—" Fitz says just as the Ghost Rider, now fully in control of Robbie's body (to the complete horror of poor Gabe, seeing this side of his brother for the very first time in perhaps the worst way possible), successfully punches the door off the damn things.

"That's not possible..." the stunned scientist says, staring in horrified amazement.

Is Jeffrey Mace's Inhuman super strength any match for the Ghost Rider? We've got a feeling we're due to find out.

While Coulson and his team's lives hang in the balance (unleashing a flaming vengeance monster while on a quinjet tends to be a risky endeavor), look forward to finally learning the shocking story behind Robbie's deal with the devil to become the Ghost Rider.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
