The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 Finale Feels Like the End of the Road for Jacqueline Laurita

The chances of seeing Jacqueline in RHONJ's opening credits in season eight seem pretty slim

What a whirlwind end to season seven of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

After sitting though Melissa Gorga's successful Envy fashion show, Teresa Giudice's check-in with her lawyer, and Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker's meal with their mothers, we finally got to the main attraction: The explosive lunch with Jacqueline Laurita. And it did not disappoint.

After spending most of the season feuding with nearly all of her co-stars, Jacqueline arrived at the restaurant (after Siggy wisely changed up the original plan and switched the location from her house because who wants this mess in the place they sleep every night) ready to call the shots, demanding one-on-one time with each woman rather than a group conversation. And when her barked orders were met with complete disdain by Melissa and Teresa, she ran.

Yeah, you read that right. She ran. After threatening that there was a car waiting for her in the parking lot, ready to whisk her away if her demands weren't met, Jacqueline made good on her promise and bolted, forcing the two people in the cast who give a damn about her to chase after her, taking off their shoes to run barefoot across train tracks (ah, so that's why the restaurant was called Rails!) and through the lot, only to open the door, look back at them, slam the door, and drive off.

"Siggy and I, we tried our best," Dolores said. "Melissa and Teresa both came in with a chip on their shoulder, and then Jacqueline, pointing at them, 'I'll talk to you, then I'll talk to you'—first of all, on a good day, you don't talk to an Italian person like that."

"She's done. She's dead to me. I wanted to give her the kiss of death today, but I can't even f--king look at her," Teresa ranted. "She makes me sick. She makes me want to f--king vomit."

By running away, Jacqueline robbed herself of the chance to have the final word, to defend her actions, to salvage whatever was left of any of her remaining relationships. She was never heard from again in the episode after driving off in that SUV, with the remaining minutes focusing on the other ladies enjoying their sangria instead. "And Then There Were Four," the episode was called. Who knew they really meant it?

Can you imagine a world in which Jacqueline is involved in season eight? Because we can't.

Of course, season seven isn't completely over just yet. There's still a two-part reunion special to get to. And from the looks of things, it's completely bonkers. Bring it on.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season seven reunion special airs Sunday, Nov. 6 and 13 at 10 p.m. on Bravo.

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
