Benedict Cumberbatch really knows how to make us swoon.

The Brit's latest endeavor to warm our hearts? Co-starring in a promotional video for Doctor Strange with...puppies!

The Oscar-nominated actor introduces several adorable pooches that are dressed in Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America costumes before announcing, "Now it's time for a new hero to rise, one who'll fight to protect the very fabric of reality itself.

"Behold, the majesty of Doctor Strange," he say as the camera pans down to a Pug dressed in the superhero's signature cloak with the Eye of Aramotto amulet hanging from around his neck.

Cumberbatch looks down at the dog and says, "Do something!"

The pup simply stares at the actor. "I know it's a tough gig," Cumberbatch says. "I'm a classically trained actor, but you gotta do what you gotta do."

Cumberbatch makes his superhero debut as Doctor Strange, a surgeon who gains superpowers from a mystic (Tilda Swinton) he visits after his hands are destroyed in a car accident.

Doctor Strange will appear in future Marvel movies.

Cumberbatch recently admitted that it's "very surreal" playing a superhero.

"The minute that cape went on I just looked in the mirror and I went, 'Oh, my god!'" he told me. "I got the giggles like a kid. I was like, 'Oh, my god—I'm playing a superhero!'"

He laughed, "It's very bizarre to be on lunch boxes and toys."

Doctor Strange is in theaters on Nov. 4.
