Michael Strahan seems to love his new gig at Good Morning America, but there is one downside to working on the early-morning show...

"It's great," the former Live! co-host told E! News Tuesday at the New York Fatherhood Lunch benefiting GOOD+ Foundation, hosted by Jerry Seinfeld. But...? "You know what," Michael said candidly, "I don't know if you ever adjust to getting up, waking up so early—I don't know if that's possible, but I enjoy going in there."

"I look forward to being there," he added. "It's fun, because it's new, it's exciting, and I'm learning so much, and I work with great people."

All in all, Michael said he's having "an incredible experience" since he started working full-time at GMA last month.

The former NFL star also offered up some words of wisdom for anyone hoping to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Watch the clip above to find out Michael's honest advice for those getting started in the business!
