The showdown of the century is coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. And no, we don't mean the upcoming face-off between Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Robbie Reyes—aka Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna). We're talking about the one between their cars.

"There have been kids screaming for the Lola vs. Lucy drag race, and they're gonna get it," Luna told E! News, teasing tonight's new episode. "I've been keeping that a secret for way too long. What better than a 1962 flying Corvette vs. a '69 Hellcharger? We're off to the races, and we'll have to see where we all land, but we're definitely on a collision course."

So, what brings Robbie into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s orbit yet again? You'll have to tune in to find out, but Luna did admit it has something to do with a certain lab that's responsible for all the ghostly activity in the world this season. "I guess I could say that they're on the path of this Momentum Laboratory, this source of energy that Lucy the ghost and her cohorts were seeking out and using," he said. "And as you saw in episode two, I was discussing with Daisy—I have this uncle, I'm gonna go see him. I need to go see him. He worked at this lab. We both have this place in our crosshairs, so it makes sense that we would collide."

While the outcome of their collision remains to be seen, the brilliant minds at S.H.I.E.L.D. could be Robbie's best shot at figuring out how rid himself of the vengeance demon currently inhabiting his body—if only he was open to outside help.

"I don't believe he's the kind of guy that puts it in the hands of others to find his release from this demon's hold," Luna admitted. "Until Daisy, no one has ever walked away from an encounter with the Ghost Rider alive. I'm not sure how much he wants to relinquish the control over his own liberation or his own freedom from this thing. There's very few people he wants to know of it. And the fact that Daisy now knows is already a huge, huge leap for him. So who knows how Agent Phil Coulson and the others will deal with it, but I guarantee you won't have to wait long to find out."

Speaking of Daisy (Chloe Bennet), expect to see that burgeoning relationship advance this week, despite Robbie's brother Gabe's (Lorenzo James Henrie) best efforts to scare the one known as Quake away last week. "Gabe, he's got my best interests at heart and we are each other's keepers. I think what he sees—he obviously doesn't know what resides in me. If he knew that, I'm sure he'd probably try to come to Daisy's protection just as much as he's come to mine. But he's being inundated with all this anti-Inhuman stuff just like everyone else," Luna said. "Who knows what happens with Robbie and Daisy moving forward. You'll learn a lot more [in the next episode,] but as it stands, they've come to an understanding in that they mean each other no harm. And whatever skills they both possess, they want to utilize them for their greater good as a duo."
