We're just a week away from the biggest crossover event of the season, and to say we're stoked is an understatement.
New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine are about to collide, and as the promo above shows, it's bound to be a good time.
According to the episodes' official descriptions, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) finds herself in New York, and runs into one detective Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg). He enlists her help in tracking down a suspect in a new case.
In the second half our of the hour-long crossover, we learn that the whole New Girl gang headed to New York because Schmidt (Max Greenfield) believed he was being honored at his high school. Jess ends up at the 99th precinct, where she encounters both Gina (Chelsea Peretti) and Captain Holt (Andre Braugher).
Meanwhile, Nick (Jake Johnson) and Winston (Lamorne Morris) try to find subway fare while trying to impress Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio), and Cece faces off with her new mother-in-law (Nora Dunn).
All of these interactions are sure to be a joy, but we can't even express to you how excited we are to see Jess go up against Holt and Gina. We're actually just very excited about everything happening here, and about finally getting to see if any of our fan fiction will come true!
Just kidding. Sort of.
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine and New Girl crossover airs next Tuesday at 8 and 8:30 p.m. on Fox.
