The day leading up to Kim Kardashian West's terrifying night in Paris was just like any other for the social celebrity...until it wasn't.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was attending Paris Fashion Week the night she was robbed at gunpoint, enjoying the shows, dinners and fancy parties as normal ahead of the incident.

In fact, on Sunday, E! News learned Kim went to the Givenchy show at 8 p.m., which ended at 9:30 p.m. She then attended a dinner hosted by Azzedine Alaïa and left around midnight.

When Kim returned home to Kanye West's apartment he owns at the No Address Hotel, Kourtney Kardashian and their body guard, Pascal Duvier, were with her. Kanye was performing at a concert in New York.

However, Kourtney and Pascal left Kim alone to pick up Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin as they were headed out for a birthday party at L'Arc nightclub. We're told the guard typically joins whoever is out when Kim is in the safety of her own residence. We also learned the paparazzi followed Kourtney and the girls, leaving the premises of the hotel empty.

Kim then snapchatted a bit of her alone time in the apartment, showing her FaceTime conversation with Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian as she wished them a happy baby shower. She also shared a Snapchat of her friend, Jasmine Sanders, in her room, showing off her outfit for the night.

Not very long after everyone left, the five men wearing masks and police uniforms entered Kim's building.

The French Interior Ministry confirmed that, before entering Kim's room, the men first threatened the concierge with a weapon, handcuffed him and forced him to let them into her apartment.

E! News learned they gained entry sometime between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m local time, bound her hands and feet with tape, gagged her and put her in the bathtub. They then stole one of Kim's $4.6 million rings as well as a jewelry box, worth an estimated $5.6 million.

A source told E! News, "She begged for them to let her live and [said] she has babies at home…She thought they were for sure going to kill her."

Her children, daughter North West, 3, and son Saint West, 9 months, were not in the room.

Meanwhile, we're told Kourtney and Kendall arrived at the club around 2:20 a.m. and were there no longer than 10 minutes before being rushed out, not knowing what was going on. They arrived back at the apartment around 2:45 a.m. to police cars surrounding the complex.

Another source tells E! News there was a suspicious person who had been seen following Kim for a few days while she was in Paris, adding that the unknown male raised flags because every time he was questioned by security or by paparazzi, his explanation were always different. "His story did not add up," the insider explained.

Kim left the apartment around 7 a.m. and was on a plane by 8:30 a.m. Joined by Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble, she arrived at the Teterboro airport in New Jersey early Monday morning where she met up with Kanye before driving to their New York City apartment.

The couple is currently staying there with a massive barrage of security surrounding the building.

E! has released a statement in light of the incident: "All of us at E! are incredibly thankful that Kim Kardashian West is safe, and we send her and her family our love and support.Keeping Up with the Kardashians was not filming at the time of the robbery.  Our focus right now is entirely on Kim's well-being."
