E! News has confirmed that the 41-year-old actor is engaged to his 25-year-old girlfriend Paulina Slagter after dating for four years. While no details on how the proposal went down have been released, a source tells us that Phillippe "proposed on Christmas day."
The insider added, "They arrived in Miami on Sunday and had lunch at Seaspice, where they ate facing the river at the owner's table. She was really cute and humble about the way she showed off the ring."
"She's awesome. When people see her they have these judgments because she could be a model but she's about to graduate Stanford Law," Phillippe told Howard Stern back in April of his Stanford Law fiancée. "Also what's great about it—as you get older certain issues become more important to you. I'm very involved in civil rights issues, and so to be with a woman who could actually make an impact in the legal realm—that's a beautiful thing."
He added, "It's [serious]. I'm not opposed to [getting married again]."
The newly engaged pair are currently enjoying the beach and party scene in Miami, grabbing a bite at Seaspice in Miami today ahead of his appearance later this week at the exclusive Five Star New Year's Eve party on Watson Island for his second year in a row.
Phillippe was last famously married to Reese Witherspoon. The former flames have 16-year-old daughter, Ava, in high school, as well as an 12-year-old son, Deacon, together. In 2007, the duo's divorce was finalized after eight years of marriage.
He also has a 4-year-old daughter, Kailani, with model-actress Alexis Knapp.
