Kate Middleton ditched her signature coats for what many would consider a business-chic style as she and husband Prince William headed to church on Sunday after Christmas.

The 33-year-old Duchess of Cambridge wore a purple jacket and matching over-the-knee fit-and-flare skirt, paired with black tights and boots and a matching hat.

She, William, 33, his younger brother Prince Harry, 31, and their father Prince Charles, 67, were seen heading into a St. Mary Magdalene Church near the Sandringham Estate, Queen Elizabeth II's country home.

The family had attended services there on Christmas Day as well. At the time, Kate bundled up in a long, green, belted coat.

She and William did not bring their children, Prince George, 2, and 7-month-old Princess Charlotte to either service.

Charles, who like the rest of his royal family, rarely gives interviews, had recently talked about his grandchildren in the 90-minute ITV documentary When Ant and Dec Met the Prince: 40 Years of the Prince's Trust, which focuses on him and airs on Jan. 4.
