Today's forecast calls for a dose of cuteness!

ABC News Chief Meteorologist Ginger Zee announced Sunday afternoon that she welcomed her first child with husband Ben Aaron.

"Meet my little love: Adrian Benjamin!" she wrote on Twitter as she held her newborn son in the hospital.

The healthy delivery comes just two days after the weather expert had her last day on Good Morning America before her much deserved maternity leave. Ginger was treated to surprises, sparkling apple cider and more from her fellow co-hosts including George Stephanopoulos and Lara Spencer.

"I feel like I'm lucky because I've had a really good pregnancy, everyone has been so supportive," she explained on the morning show. "Thanks to you guys…and now I'm going to get a little emotional. Oh my god."

She continued, "I'm so nervous. I'm staying up at night every once in a while…that's been the hardest part. I feel him move and I'm like there's a real human in here. This is happening."

Fans of Ginger know that the newswoman is more than willing to try new adventures. After all, she swam with sharks, skydived on TV and also tried her luck at Nascar racing. But up until the big day, there was something about the unknown that had the new mom on her toes.

"All the other adventures promise you a return home," she said. "This is like when you get home the adventure's there. That's the big difference—it's why it's so emotional for me, because I'll do anything but this scares me!"

Based on pictures, however, everything appears to be more than a-okay. And for those curious, Ginger will return to GMA. Just give her a little time for goodness sake.

"I'll see you in a bit," she told viewers Friday. "And no, I'm going to make the baby jump off the mountain too soon."
