Instagram Happy wife equals happy life!
Thousands of shoppers may be scrambling this weekend to pick up their last-minute holiday gifts. After all, Christmas is only six days away.
But when it comes to John Legend, he made his list, checked it twice and picked out quite the special gift for his pregnant leading lady Chrissy Teigen.
"John got me my lifetime dream for Christmas! A cheese wheel to dump pasta and risotto in for years to come!" the mom-to-be wrote on Instagram Saturday evening. "My tableside serving game is bout to be liiiiiit!"
She added, "If you haven't seen one of these wheels in action oh man, it is a thing a beauty. Hot pasta is tossed around, gently melting the cheese and plated right at your table. It makes me emotional."
Tears of joy, Chrissy. Tears of joy!
The present truly is the perfect fit for a supermodel who is experiencing her fair share of pregnancy cravings. There's also that highly anticipated cookbook that many of her fans and Twitter followers can't wait to get a taste of.
"Oh crap oh crap! My cookbook is available for pre-order and officially has a cover debut which is nowwwwwww! Ah!," Teigen tweeted earlier this month with the cover image. "I'm really nervous for some reason. this is my baby. er my other baby. #CravingsCookbook."
The gift also may have given Legend some brownie points after his wife poked fun at his skills behind the bar this weekend. The "All of Me" singer proved that he can pick out the perfect gift, but can he make the perfect drink?
"John has been learning to make mocktails for me because obvs I miss this booze and he's officially at 35 mins a drink," she joked on Twitter. "Wonderful person, horrible bartender."
Nobody's perfect, but these two are pretty darn close.
