Once a relationship ends, a breakover begins.

It's not unusual for a newly single person to kick up their workout regimen or change up their look following a split, but Ruby Rose's latest outing can't completely be credited to the recent news in her personal life.

The Orange Is the New Black stunner shared a photo on her Instagram page of herself pumping some iron at the gym earlier today, and although it's probably a good release following the news of her engagement to Phoebe Dahl being called off, Rose has different motives for her fitness.

"Training for John Wick with @murphyfitness .. I keep looking for roles to play a couch potato but no luck!! Tanned in winter thanks @fakebakeusa @muatanyap LOL," she wrote. The collage of snaps shows the brunette beauty in a sports bra that flaunts her toned abs and numerous tattoos, while lifting weights for her upcoming role.

Regardless, the 29-year-old Aussie did tweet something following the split that made us realize Ruby Rose going through a breakup is all of us going through a breakup.

Girl, we feel you. But maybe play that Adele album, anyway. Let. Your. Heart. Break. (Just make sure your makeup is all washed off beforehand, otherwise it's gonna get messy.)

E! News exclusively confirmed earlier this week that Rose and her designer fiancée called it quits. The striking duo were together for two years and had announced their engagement in March 2014, with Rose merrily explaining that Dahl had turned her down three times before changing her mind and asking her.

"It's completely amicable and they wish each other the best," says a source close to the couple. We're told that distance put a strain on their relationship, the two having to spend so much time apart for work.
