Ariana Grande, rain

All Ariana Grande wants for Christmas is to chill.

The 22-year-old "Focus" songstress released a three-track holiday EP on Thursday, after teasing fans the night before with clips of the songs posted to her Instagram and themed lyrics shared to her Twitter followers.

Finally, she confirmed its release Thursday afternoon after the songs were shared on ReverbNation.

"Should already be out overseas! hope my babies are enjoying #ChristmasAndChill it'll be out here tonight 9pm pst / 12am est #comethrusanta," she wrote.

Unlike her first holiday EP released in 2013 titled Christmas Kisses, which featured the classic holiday hits "Last Christmas" and "Santa Baby," Christmas and Chill is filled with entirely original songs, including tracks "Wit It This Christmas" and "December."

The songs hit a sultry note with lyrics like "'Tis the season for some loving, so I think you should give your love to me," it's clear Grande may be hoping to find one particular stud under the tree this Christmas.

Since Mariah Carey's classic holiday track, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" was recently dethroned as the top-played festive tune, perhaps Grande can swoop into the top spot with these catchy new melodies.
