Aside from another exciting change, Maggie might look a tad different on The Walking Dead in the future...

Lauren Cohan, who plays the character on the AMC series, recently debuted a new pixie cut and stepped out with her new 'do at the iHeart Radio Z100 2015 Jingle Ball in New York City on Friday. The 33-year-old actress had sported shoulder-length hair throughout the past few seasons and was last photographed with her former haircut at a celebrity event in October, at the season six red carpet premiere.

Cohan attended the Jingle Ball wearing a cleavage-baring black top, paired with dark gray skinny jeans tucked into mid-calf black boots, paired with a black blazer with the sleeves rolled up.

Spoiler alert!

The Walking Dead is on hiatus. Its season six midseason finale aired on Nov. 30. In recent episodes, it was revealed Maggie is pregnant with her and husband Glenn's first child—a bittersweet concept in a post-apocalyptic world mostly ravaged by zombies.

Cohan had showed off a hint of her new haircut earlier this month. Several fans have pointed out that she now resembles her comic book character more. And her transformation has stirred some intense feelings, including concern.

The Walking Dead is set to return in February.
