Rihanna shines bright like a diamond at her second annual Diamond Ball held on Thursday for her Clara Lionel Foundation. The event was held at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and had many A-list guests in attendance including Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Kylie Jenner and Lionel Richie.
The eight-time Grammy winner was gorgeous in a strapless gold metallic Dior gown. The "FourFive Seconds" singer glowed in Cartier diamonds.
The 27-year-old spent the night with her guests raising funds for her foundation that she started in 2012 in memory of her grandparents, Claire and Lionel Braithwaite.
The charity works to help underprivileged communities around the world receive a better quality of life.
"It means a lot. It's the second year and it's almost doubled in attendance. So many people came out and donated and are supporting this charity tonight," the singer told E!
The event was hosted by Kevin Hart started off with a sit-down dinner then moved into an auction with enviable items including a guitar signed by Bono and front row tickets to the Puma by Rihanna AW16 fashion show. The night came to an end with a performance by Lionel Richie.
At $3,000 a ticket and additional donations made after the auctions, the event raised over $3 million to support the foundation.
"It feels good to have all of these people stop what they're doing and get dressed up to come out and donate money to this charity for an amazing, amazing cause," RiRi said. "They want to change lives and it feels special."
