InstagramCiara and boyfriend Russell Wilson are not engaged...for now.
The 30-year-old R&B singer and the 27-year-old NFL star began dating in April and sparked engagement rumors this week.
"Ciara and Wilson are not engaged," a source told E! News exclusively on Friday. "They will be getting engaged one day soon though, as they both openly talk about their future with each other."
"They know in their hearts they are meant to be with each other," the source added. "They are in such an amazing place now in their relationship."
Wilson and Ciara have not commented about the rumors. The singer wore no ring on her ring finger as she walked the red carpet at the 2015 Billboard Women in Music event on Friday.
They pair's relationship has sparked particular interest with many fans since it was revealed the two putting off having sex until marriage.
Wilson gushed about Ciara in a Rolling Stone interview, published in August.
"I knew God had brought me into her life to bless her and for her to bless me and to bless so many people with the impact that she has and I have," he said.
Ciara was previously engaged to rapper Future, 32, with whom she shares a 1-year-old son, Future Zahir Wilburn. The two music artists broke up in 2014.
