FOXMADtv is returning to TV for one glorious, laugh-filled night. Just don't go looking for it on its former home channel Fox.
In honor of the late-night sketch comedy series' 20th anniversary, the CW of all places has announced plans for the MADtv 20th Anniversary Reunion. The one-hour retrospective will not only be chock full of beloved sketches and characters from the show's 14 year-run, but also include new material from 19 of your favorite alumni. In the special, the cast reunites for a glamorous award ceremony to honor the series, but true to MADtv form, things don't go exactly to plan.
So, who's returning? Ike Barinholtz, Alex Borstein, Mo Collins, Crista Flanagan, Anjelah Johnson, Nicole Randall Johnson, Keegan-Michael Key, Phil LaMarr, Artie Lange, Bobby Lee, Michael McDonald, Arden Myrin, Nicole Parker, Eric Price, Will Sasso, Aries Spears, Nicole Sullivan, Stephnie Weir and Debra Wilson—basically, our entire MADtv favorites gallery below. One glaring exception? Jordan Peele. How are we going to have a Key without a Peele? How?!
In addition to the special, 75 of the funniest MADtv episodes will be made available for streaming exclusively on CW Seed, the CW's digital network, beginning Jan. 5, 2016.
