Britney Spears, Birthday, GIFE!

It's time to break out in a choreographed dance routine: it's Britney Spears' 34th birthday today.

The Pop Princess has filled our hearts with joy and addictive dance beats since the '90s, and we love her for it.

To celebrate, we're looking back at some of her most iconic pop culture moments.

Just to be clear: we're avoiding 2007 (you know what we're talking about) and sticking with the highlights that make us stand up and cheer "yassss queeeen slayyyyy!"

After all… it's Britney's birthday, bitch.

We'll never forget when she rocked the hottest school uniform of all time in her "...Baby One More Time" video.

Or when Britney covered her first Rolling Stone in April 1999. It may be her most controversial magazine cover to date. Who knew Teletubbies could be so naughty?

Another video that is so signature Britney: her "Oops!...I Did It Again" music video, featuring choreographed dances, a skintight red jumpsuit, and some sort of mid-video Titanic sketch with a hot astronaut.

There was that time Britney and then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake rolled up to the 2001 American Music Awards in matching denim looks, creating one of her most memorable red carpet looks ever.

And when Brit Brit was like a sexy Jack Hanna during her 2001 MTV VMAs performance of "I'm a Slave 4 U," which featured her strutting around the stage with an albino Burmese python.

Speaking of which, Britney followed up her VMAs' moment with the premiere of her "I'm a Slave 4 U" music video on MTV's Making the Video. Sweaty people, belly dancing, wearing a thong over her pants: this may be Britney's hottest video.

Making her jump to the big screen, Britney starred in the road trip movie, Crossroads, which is about friendship and having amazing abs.

Then there was that time Britney locked lips with Madonna during their 2003 MTV VMAs performance, and everyone forgot about Christina Aguilera. (Sorry, Xtina.)

Britney continued to one-up her spectacular singles, scoring her first Grammy Award (and only Grammy to date) for the Best Dance Recording category for "Toxic."

She stayed in the public lexicon. The opening line to Britney's 2007 song "Gimme More" is: "It's Britney, bitch." And we basically haven't stopped saying it since... bitch.

Sexy dominatrix Britney dropped "Work Bitch" in 2013 on her eighth studio album, Britney Jean, and reminded the world she cannot be unseated from her throne of fabulous-ness.

And in late 2013, Britney made her Las Vegas residency debut at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino at her Britney: Piece of Me show, which is still running (and slaying.)

What can we expect next? Some new music! Watch the video below as Britney reveals she's back in the studio. Find out who she's working with...
