Introducing our newest celebrity blogger, Jessie James Decker!

The country singer and reality star is getting ready for baby No. 2 with husband and NFL star Eric Decker. Lucky for us, she's opening up about all of the changes coming her way with her growing family in exclusive blog posts for E! News.

As she prepares for the arrival for her son, take a look at how the "Lights Down Low" crooner is adjusting to life as a mother of two.

Let me tell you, not all pregnancies are created equal!

When I was pregnant with my daughter Vivianne, I gained 55 lbs. I was so swollen, I craved anything that would make any woman gain a ton of weight and I was sick for five months straight. But this time around, it has been easy breezy in comparison. Running after Vivianne all the time, I was able to stay in shape and only gained 24 lbs. They say pregnancies can differ depending on whether you're carrying a girl or boy, so for me I think having a little boy is definitely easier on my body—or I'm just better prepared!

I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off when I was carrying Vivi. I was figuring out how to balance my music career and fashion line, Kittenish, all while preparing for a little girl! I'm so lucky to have Eric, who has always been so helpful and incredibly supportive, but now with one child at home already, I already feel better prepared. Before I felt like I was all over the place, this time (with the help of my mom, too!) I've learned how to structure and organize my time a little better.

Unfortunately, though, moms aren't immune to getting sick either. Right now I've been battling a bad cold, Vivi just had a fever and I can feel my body starting to change, which I think means my little boy is getting ready to come out soon! But with everyone under the weather these days, it's definitely starting to take its toll. I'm slowing down, and I'm exhausted, so I'm definitely ready to meet our little boy!

Now that my due date is approaching, I know what I have to do to prepare. When Vivi was born I went into the hospital with all of these expectations. I thought I would have a natural birth and everything would be smooth sailing, but I quickly learned that things can change at a moment's notice. I ended up having an emergency C-section, so this time around, I'm going into the hospital with a plan.

I have a scheduled C-section, so I'm more excited and prepared than nervous. And now that my mom is in town and Eric will be there, I know I'm in safe hands and surrounded by so much love. The plan can always change, but this time I feel much more ready.
